Portrayal of an Inexperienced Palin and an Experienced Obama.
Well, this was expected. The media has released the attack dogs on Sarah Palin. The first weakness they will try to exploit: her lack of experience. In order to do this they are going to try and portray Barack Obama as much more experienced than Palin. This is a lie, but it is one that will be packaged in a way people will believe.
Here is a prime example of this attempt to raise Obama’s experience of Palin’s from the editorial page of Mercury News in California:
“Republicans will argue that Palin is no less experienced than Obama. That is ridiculous. In the Senate, in organizing a stunningly successful national campaign and through 18 months of hard campaigning for the nomination, Obama proved to be as capable, articulate and knowledgeable as anyone in Congress – and certainly the equal to McCain.”
The left will continue to use this fact that Obama has executive experience because he has ran this stunning campaign that employs all these people, but what does that actually mean?
Obama didn’t actually run or organize the campaign. He brought in some very capable people to do that for him. So all he has proved is he can hire effective people to do a job, which is an important skill in itself, but it is hard to believe, as Governor of Alaska Palin has not done the same.
As far as his Senate experience, Obama was only in the Senate for 143 days before he announced his candidacy for the presidency. He then essentially became a part time Senator.
Articulate? Yeah ok. I will give that one to Obama as long as there is a teleprompter near by.
Obama running a “stunningly national campaign” somehow makes him more experienced than running the executive branch of the State of Alaska. A state that is vital to the U.S. economy.
We can expect to see a lot more editorials and columns like this one before November.

How Low Will Liberals Go? Unbelievable Attack on Palin’s Family.
You are not going to believe this sick attack from the left side of the blogosphere against Sarah Palin. The Daily Kos, one of the biggest liberal blogs, has started the roomer that Sarah Palin’s newborn Down’s syndrome is not hers, but rather her 17-year-old daughters.
It seems the DailyKos has since taken the post off their blog, but Amanda Carpenter from townhall.com has the complete story.
To make a long story short the DailyKos says Sarah Palin hid her daughter’s pregnancy and took the kid as her own to save the family from shame!
Are you kidding me! In this day in age of information technology there is no way you could keep a secret like that!
Sarah Palin and her husband Todd has released a statement through the McCain camp that her 17 year old daughter is five months pregnant and her daughter plans on marrying the father.
This should be the end of this story, but it won’t be…grab your umbrellas, the storm is just beginning.

Giving Credit to Barack Obama
I have to give some credit to Barack Obama for his reaction to the Palin baby story.
Obama: “I have said before and I will repeat: People’s families are off limits…And people’s children are especially off-limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president. So I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories. You know my mother had me when she was 18 and how a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be a topic of our politics.”
And about accusations that the story was planted from his campaign to the blogs:
“I am offended by that statement. There is no evidence at all that any of this involved us,” he said. “Our people were not involved in any in this, and they will not be. And if I thought there was somebody in my campaign who was involved in something like that, they would be fired.”
See…I don’t always bash Obama…

Former DNC Chairman: Gustav demonstrates God on Our Side
Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler was caught on tape claiming hurricane Gustav’s timing with the Republican National Convention “just demonstrates that God’s on our side.” Fowler has now released an apology, but not for the remark, and claimed the person who taped him was a “right-wing nut case.”
I guess Fowler is saying he only says crazy things like this when “right-wing nut cases are around…

Big T's Suggested Reading and Viewing from around the Web.
Here is a piece from time magazine that says Bristol Palin’s pregnancy wasn’t a secret or big deal in their hometown of Wasilla. Oh but the left is going to make it a big deal!
Great news from Iraq. Iraq is taking over security of the Anbar province. The area once known as the “Sunni Triangle” or the “Triangle of Death.”

Obama only got a 3-point bounce from the convention and it is depreciating already. Hey, at least he got a bounce unlike John F. Kerry who didn’t get any bounce.

Here is something I don’t agree with Sarah Palin on. She doesn’t support school vouchers… Oh well, no one is perfect.
